Long-range endurance, comfortable accommodations, shallow draft, heavy weather capabilities, and stability that only a catamaran can provide make this vessel a unique and extremely capable platform for ocean studies. She is available for marine survey, construction support, and oceanographic research, including seismic, magnetic exploration, biological, atmospheric, geophysical and/or geological research.
In addition to all equipment noted above, she can be configured and staffed to meet client needs. Cable raceways, counters, and a large 6’ x 19’ computer rack provide ample room for client workstations. There are two four-berth staterooms for clients and other sleeping arrangements can be made, if necessary. Full size appliances, chest freezer and large storage areas provide full service galley accommodations as well as room for scientific samples. The captain and crew have lots of Alaskan experience, and can be joined by additional specialized crew when needed.
